Dr Lauren Ng

Dr Lauren Ng is a Respiratory and Sleep physician at Heart Health Geelong. She also has public appointments at Barwon Health and Western Health.

Lauren attained her medical degree with honours from Monash University and holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Newcastle. She completed her specialty training at the Alfred Hospital and Western Health and undertook a fellowship in Sleep Medicine with Melbourne Sleep Disorders Centre (MSDC).

In addition to general respiratory medicine, Lauren’s clinical interests include asthma, lung cancer and all areas of sleep disorders including insomnia, circadian rhythm disorder, narcolepsy, hypersomnia and restless legs syndrome.

Lauren has an interest in clinical education and is a member of the Education and Training subcommittee of the Thoracic Society of Australia & New Zealand (TSANZ). She is also a member of the Australasian Sleep Association (ASA), American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP).
